ACHIEVEMENTS

Educational History:
• Bachelors degree, Documentary Film studies and photography – Laval University, Quebec (1997)
• Certificate in Anthropology – Laval University, Quebec (2003 )
• Masters in Visual Anthropology (Inuit culture) – Laval University, Quebec (2005)

Cinematography:
• Video editor on board of the SednaIV Sailboat. Editing weekly clips that were shown on website of tthis 13 months expedition in Antarctica. (www.sedna.tv) Glacialis Productions 2005-2007.
• Cameraman, assistant editor for a community television network Québec, 1995-1996
• Cameraman and editor of a documentary about young inuit who dropped out school and builds Kayaks in Puvirnituq.

EVENTS/EXHIBITIONS

Photo Exibitions:
• 2006 – “Vision Inuit” –Photo exhibition in an Igloo. The exhibition included 16 personal pictures. Moreover, 10 elders from Inukjuak village were represented through various pictures they took. Basically, it was an encounter of 2 visions and reflections regarding the environment. This therefore underlined the “important” relationship Inuits have with their natural resources.
• 2007 – “Tupiq” - Photo exhibition in an Inuit tent. This exhibition represented the duality of the inside/outside Inuit world.

AWARDS

• 2nd prize Charlevoix's animal photo contest edition 2000.
• 1st prize for Gala des Muses Art Exhibition contest, University Laval 2004 for the exhibition Visions Inuit.
• Professional Training on how to set up an exhibition (Quebec Museum) 2004.
