Permafrost accepts submissions each year. Accepted are unsolicited fiction, nonfiction, poetry and artwork for regular publication in the journal. Yearly contests are also administered.

THARSThe Ted Harrison Artist Retreat Society (THARS) is now accepting applications from visual artists for residencies Nov 1, 2007 to Sept 30, 2008. The deadline for submissions is April 30, 2007. Detailed info at www.thars.ca

The THARS residency program is intended to give visual artists across the country a subsidized opportunity to concentrate on the research, development, and production of a project or body of work in a remote and inspirational setting.
